Feeling anxious about the state of the world? Yeah, me too. But I’m guessing what helps me could help you.

Grow something. Get your hands in the earth.

And I’m sorry to say, it won’t work to just buy a plant from a big box store. I mean, go start some seeds. Spend $4.00 on a packet. Follow the directions and then stand back and marvel.

Think you aren’t good at it? Start with radishes. They are the easiest and most satisfying things to grow. Super quick. So straightforward. Or if you want to go with flowers, I’d say nasturtiums. Also supremely easy. Go, go! Plant a seed. It'll feel so good. Promise. You are a seed in the garden of change.
