What flowers are in season in midsummer in Port Townsend?

Here are some of the flowers blooming in midsummer (mid-July through mid-August) in the Pacific Northwest. This is not an exhaustive list, but rather a starting point to give you some ideas and to show the flowers I grow on my farm.

Midsummer is dry grass, blue skies, and warm evenings. I love white or pale flowers that practically glow in cool, shaded spots. Or dried grasses, swaying in the wind. Lilies, berries, the first of the dahlias!
