What Flowers Are in Flower in the Winter in Seattle?
There aren’t many things blooming in the winter (December, January, February, and early March) in the Pacific Northwest. The farm is resting. Flowers you might see being sold as locally grown in the winter are either chilled in coolers and then tricked to bloom early or grown in heated greenhouses. Neither of which we feel are great for the planet. So we take the cue from Mother Nature and rest ourselves. That being said, if you have an inkling for a special winter wedding with evergreens, dried flowers, or grasses - get in touch!
